How protesters can avoid stray bullets

Since the onset of peaceful demonstrations, there have been incidents involving rogue police officers firing live rounds, resulting in over 50 fatalities within a month.
With no signs of abating, this has stoked public anger with demands rising for accountability. Many casualties have succumbed to bullet wounds.
But is there a way to mitigate the risk of gunfire and stray bullets? Below are some tips to follow:
If gunfire is heard, immediately drop to the ground, stay low, and seek cover that can stop bullets.
Concealment, which hides but does not stop bullets, should be sought. Be cautious of building parts that may appear solid but are not protective (e.g., decorative columns).
Once behind cover, assess for better cover or an escape route offering protection. Identify the source of gunfire and move away from it if possible.
If seeking cover behind a vehicle, position yourself behind the engine for optimal protection and use the wheel and tire as additional shielding if necessary.
Bullets deform upon impact with hard surfaces, making concrete buildings safer than open spaces. While these tactics can help avoid stray bullets, knowing what to do if hit is crucial.
Immediate actions include preventing excessive bleeding and awaiting professional medical assistance to remove the lodged bullet, all conducted with disinfected hands and gloves.
