Move Ruto to incorporate ODM leaders into his Cabinet angered Kenyans, who heavily criticised former PriceMinister Raila Odinga. A majority accused the Azimio la Umoja OnenKenya Coalition Party leader of betraying the Gen Z movement's course. However, Ndii shared a cryptic message, indirectly hitting out at the former prime minister's political move. In his message, Ndii said there was nothing strange or new about the latest political development involving the veteran opposition leaders. Historic perspective of Raila Odinga's handshakes In his message, Ndii shared photos of the ODM leader shaking hands with former presidents, including the late President Daniel Moi. He also shared a photo of the famous handshake between Raila and the late Mwai Kibaki after the highly disputed 2007 presidential election. The handshake between Kibaki and Raila gave birth to a coalition government where Raila was named the prime minister. He further shared the picture of the handshake between the ODM leader and ex-president Uhuru Kenyatta outside Harambee house. "Mnashaangaa nini," Ndii said.
