Bishop Allan Kiuna: Nairobi Man Says JCC Founder Gave Him 11 Acres of Land to Farm

Nate Kamwaro (l) described Bishop Allan Kiuna (r) as a generous man.
Nate Kamwaro has penned a glowing tribute to deceased Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) co-founder Bishop Allan Kiuna.  In a Facebook post, Kamwaro recalled a decade ago when he was in his early 20s and life was exceptionally challenging. Why did Kamwaro seek Kiuna's help? He disclosed that nothing seemed to work out, which made him crave a sense of purpose.  Kamwaro sought a small piece of land to engage in small-scale farming rather than stay idle. "I shared my aspirations with Pastor David Njoroge of CN Davids, hoping for prayers and perhaps some guidance," he wrote. In an act of immense generosity, Pastor Njoroge approached Bishop Kiuna and requested help on his behalf. How Kiuna helped Kamwaro start farming Without even meeting Kamwaro or his friends Mwaura Muiruri and Tonny Kibutha, Kiuna offered them 11 acres of land, complete with greenhouses. He asked for nothing in return despite allowing them to farm as much as they wanted. With only the resources to manage an acre or two, the trio farmed diligently on the land until they moved on to other ventures. Kamwaro notes that Kiuna's kindness provided them not just with land but hope and an opportunity to better their lives during a challenging period. "His selflessness is something we will forever be grateful for. Thank you once again, Bishop Kiuna. Rest well," he eulogised.
