“Till death do us part” is a common phrase used in weddings that came to pass to two friends. David Tibai (l) and his best friend Steve Koech (r) died in a road accident in Uasin Gishu. Steve Koech and David Tibai have lost their lives following a fatal road accident along Moim – Talket road. The two young men were close friends, classmates,s and immediate neighbours in Talket, Elgeyo Border, Moiben, Uasin Gishu county. “Let’s stand with the families at this hard and trying moment pole sana ,” read a heartbreaking post. The post also featured the two pictures of the young men who passed away in the horrible accident. They were my neighbours, Emmanuel Rono TUKO.co.ke reached out to Emmanuel Rono, whose number was shared, to receive financial contributions to the families. “A matatu heading to Talket rammed into our youths who were on their way home. The public and local community members tried their best to rush them to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), but unfortunately, the two never made it. They succumbed to injuries. It is unfortunate to lose two energetic and hardworking men. They were my close neighbours,” he said. The hurting Rono shared that a comprehensive report would be given after police investigations.
