Siaya: Man Walks in Church, Poops on Statue of Jesus as Congregants Pray

A man has left many surprised after walking into a church in Siaya while other congregants were deep in prayers and allegedly pooped on a statue of Jesus. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect of the the alleged crime .How did Siaya man poop in church? The heinous incident that occurred at St. Andrew’s Bondo Catholic Church was reported to the Siaya police station for further investigation. According to a report by Citizen Digital, CCTV footage showed a man in a black and white striped shirt and black trousers stealthily entering the church while congregants were deeply immersed in prayers. The man then went to the upper gallery where he allegedly hid the statue, proceeded to the altar where he defecated on the statue, and then walked out quietly. "He hid the defaced statue under the pews. Efforts to trace the suspect are currently ongoing," police said. Man killed inside SDA church Earlier, Rabondo Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church in Rangwe Constituency was on the spot after a 31-year-old man was killed within its premises. Benard Otieno Anah was killed on suspicion of taking 8kgs of maize and beans valued at KSh 2000 from the aforementioned church during the 2023 West Kenya Union Conference Pathfinder Camporee.  In the December 21, 2023, incident, Otieno's cousin, Davji Atellah, the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists' Union (KMPDU) secretary-general, told TUKO.co.ke that the deceased was forcefully taken from his house at around 8pm. Atellah claimed Otieno was picked under the supervision of a local assistant chief, a pastor of Rabondo SDA and members of the church. The medic's union boss said Otieno was forced to list the names of other alleged criminals in the village before being killed.
