"This occurred at the Choma Choma lounge area along the Kisii -Migori highway, where we performed last night. It happened that a motor vehicle, which was suspected of having lost control due to brake failure, rammed into motor vehicles parked in front of the venue and killed some pedestrians on the spot. My sincere condolences go to the family of departed souls, including 3 of my known fans and 1 of @malaikamusicals' staff, identified as security, going by the name George Okul," read the statement in part. Prince Indah gets emotional on stage Indah performed in his next show in Siaya on Saturday, June 15 - the fateful day. A video from the show captured the Mama Watoto hitmaker singing an emotional song meant to praise God. Indah begged for God's protection in the song, adding that enemies have surrounded him. "I can't with you (God). Help me fight, Father. Enemies have surrounded me," he tearfully sang the Luo song repeatedly. Before the end of the song, Indah fell on the stage, and the instrumental continued without his vocals.
