Pastor Kanyari Claims His Secretary Was Brains Behind KSh 310 Offering: "Aliniambia Katalia Hapo"

 Pastor Kanyari
Renowned city preacher Pastor Kanyari has claimed that his secretary, not he, came up with the idea for the infamous KSh 310 offering. Pastor Kanyari shared the reason he and his secretary did the KSh 310 offering.  Why pastor Kanyari rolled out KSh 310 offering Speaking to his church congregants, Kanyari detailed how they tried various amounts, such as KSh 500, KSh 1000, and KSh 700, but none succeeded. It wasn't until they asked for KSh 310 that they received over 1 million shillings in one day, leading the secretary to advise him to stick to that amount.  In his words: "I had a lady here who went to America, she was my secretary. That lady was the one who came up with the 310 idea. It is not me. We pleaded for KSh 1000 but no one sent. We asked for KSh 700 but no one sent. The day we asked for KSh 310, one million people sent the amount and the lady told me to stick there. I would not be enjoying the life I have now if it were not for that lady." Kanyari, also in the video now doing rounds on social media, added that when that lady calls him, he still picks to listen to her. He urged his congregants not to dismiss people who help them and to continue feeding those who feed them. Here are some of the comments from social media users: @Mercy Maina said: "I thought it was from Malachi 3:10." @Vershy said: "Kanyari is very straightforward. It's only that people judge him." @paqwa said: "Kumbe it was not divinely inspired." @Kwame said: "And people are sitting and listening keenly." @lawra said: "Weka number ya secretary. I need some ideas please." Pastor Kanyari recalls losing everything after scandal The man of God recalled losing everything when he was implicated in a scandal involving his KSh 310 offering. The pastor was allegedly accused of fraud in an investigative piece, where he was seen asking for money from his congregants to pray for their troubles. He noted that he lost his marriage and his congregants and that his parents were the only people who remained to support him.
