Njambi Koikai's Dad Painfully Says Watching Daughter Suffer Due to Endometriosis Was Tough

 

Koikais father explains the struggle they have been undergoing
The father of fallen reggae ambassador and revered MC Njambi Koikai has shared the pain and struggle the family went through seeing her suffer the endometriosis condition. Njambi’s dad was speaking at a funeral service held at the All Saints Cathedral, where he pointed out that seeing his daughter suffer was a heavy burden for him. In a video shared by the Jalango TV YouTube channel, Njambi's dad said the journey was difficult for her mother, who lived with her. “She was always in and out of hospital and this last time she went but never came out. The family, especially her mother, was with her ensuring all her needs were met,” the older man noted sadly. Njambi’s memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 13, ahead of the burial on Friday, June 14, at Lang’ata Cemetery. Where did Koikai vie in 2022? "The family decided to bury her there as that is where her grandmother is buried; the family wanted her to be laid to rest close to her," said the man sadly. Njambi’s dad also said she wished for her charity work to continue after her death. “She said if her projects could continue, she would be happy. That was her reason for running for the Dagoreti North parliamentary seat," said the leader's parent.  The family said the late journalist’s burial will cost KSh 3 million, a part of which will go to the hospital bill.
