Nairobi Man Thanks Wife for Standing by Him after Losing Job, Going Broke: "You Deserve Your Office"

Nairobi man Vincent Opar surprises his beautiful wife Lilian on their seventh wedding anniversary.
A man joyfully celebrating his wedding anniversary has narrated his journey with his wife. Nairobi man Vincent Opar surprises his beautiful wife Lilian on their seventh wedding anniversary. Vincent Opar marked his seventh marriage anniversary with a long post opening up about his personal life. How many girlfriends did Opar have? He talked about being spoilt for choice before settling with his wife, Lilian, the mother of their two children. "I didn't know who to settle for. My mum loved my pharmacist girlfriend; I shared love for my dentist girlfriend and another accountant. "I didn't know teachers always win. Until the very last days, I was settling for the dentist. All of them had visited my village at some point, and like you know, the drill, cousins here and there would throw the suggestions," he penned. Which car did Opar drive? The marketing consultant recalled giving his wife KSh 30,000 for Christmas as, at that time, she was in the village. Opar noted that he had bought a Toyota Noah and was wandering in the streets of Kisumu city. "I was roaming from room to room, two dates in one day. That is when I learned about Airbnb. The host felt like the owner until late in the days when I was informed such houses are rented out," he continued.  He pointed out that his lovely wife Lilian did not spend the KSh 30,000 he had gifted her for Christmas. Why did Opar's wife travel to Uganda? Instead, she kept it for a greater purpose: to travel to Uganda and buy her stock for sale after school reopened. "I was not told. I was only informed when she landed back. I was moved. In our era, she was not spoiling her friends or making her nails or hair. That was the beginning of us. I did reflect on how I wasted money on that trip to Kisumu when the love of my life was saving and thinking about business. "When she came to Nairobi, she sat me down like my grandmother would have done before I lost her. She asked what I had done with my money since I left school. Boy, what with my money again? I was enjoying life. I was suspended from the university, landed in the printing business, and was printing for Tuskys Supermarket," he continued.  Unfortunately, the Nairobi man said tough economic challenges forced the brand to shut down, one branch after another. How much was Opar earning weekly? He was used to earning at least KSh 150,000 weekly, but money was becoming scarce with the supermarket's closure. "I was waking up to the dangerous path of having one main client. We had agreed to settle as I cleaned my list of many girlfriends. Some were in her inbox, narrating how they loved me and that she should accept that we start with two wives. "We were moving from money to brokenness. I tried salvaging the situation by taking a group loan to start another business, a hotel business. We peeled potatoes for the French fries, but all fell on hard rock," he recalled. Can you lose business at 50? Opar noted that in the same year, he lost his mum, which left a massive emotional void in his heart. Despite the challenges of being broke and losing a loved one, Opar emotionally noted his wife never left his side. "I remember my uncle telling me that it's better to make mistakes, go broke, and lose business at a tender age than when you are in your 50s. Depression can bury you. "She graduated the same year and was running a small hotel for chapati and beans. We had a shop near breweries before the city management brought down those kiosks," he added. What gift does Opar want to give wife? Opar praised his wife for sticking and standing by him through thick and thin and never giving up on him. "She is a woman worth celebrating and choosing despite the storms. I tell her I'll buy her a machine of a vehicle with her name written on the engine at the manufacturing plant because she saved from the crocodile's jaws.  "Dear Mama Jr. and Kai. Happy seventh anniversary. You deserve a salute and your office as the first lady, and I will make it happen in the Lord's name. You might think I don't remember the journey, but I do. It's written in my back memory like the first Bible verse my grandmother left me with," he stated.
