Bomet Woman Representative Linet Chepkorir alias Toto has captivated social media after throwing an exquisite gender-neutral baby shower. Linet Toto held a baby shower attended by fellow politicians. How was Linet Toto's baby shower? The chic ivory-white and gold-themed ceremony was graced by politicians across the political divide, including Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris, her Kirinyaga counterpart Njeri Maina, Beatrice Kemei (Kericho), Nakuru's Liza Chelule, and Bomet Senator Joyce Korir, among others. Photos of the private event showcased the glowing parent-to-be looking radiant in a flowing maxi dress, tenderly cradling her baby bump. Toto's fiancé, Nifty Kim, kept it casual in a white shirt that he paired with a plaid blazer and khaki trousers. Instead of being garlanded with a vine known as 'sinendet' (Periploca linearifolia) commonly worn by Kalenjin athletes for luck and victory, Toto was adorned with a necklace of KSh1,000 notes. The cash totalled at least KSh100,000. She was also gifted a variety of baby essentials, including a top-of-the-range self-rocking bassinet. "Women of substance. Kim went down on one knee with a ring in hand at a simple, colourful proposal party just a year after their relationship became public. Photos from the engagement showed Kim kneeling while surrounded by rose petals arranged in a heart shape. Lit candles and soft rose petals spread on the checkered tile floor guided Toto's path from the door to where Kim knelt.
