Homa Bay: Form 4 Student Allegedly Kills His Mother Moments after Eating Supper

 

A 16 year old student kills his mother

Grief and sorrow have engulfed a village in Kitare village, Homa Bay county, following the death of a 38-year-old woman. The Form Four student is being detained at the Mbita Police Station. Citizen Digital reported that police in Mbita are holding a 16-year-old student linked to the death of his mother, Nelis Ogutu.  Preliminary investigations indicate the Form Four student at Nyatoto Mixed Secondary School killed his mother using a machete.  Homa Bay: What did the area chief say about the incident? Kayanja Sub Location Assistant Chief Moses Sirawa confirmed the incident, stating that the suspect arrived home from school on Thursday, June 6, evening, and attacked his mother immediately after evening meals. According to Sarawak, the Form 4 student first strangled his mother before hacking her with a machete for unknown reasons. Investigators believe the boy may have committed the gruesome act due to mental issues. Community members who heard the commotion at the widow's house rushed to the scene and apprehended the suspect before handing him to the police. The body of the deceased was taken to Kirindo mortuary as police continued with the investigations.
