Milimani Senior Principal Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhumbi did not grant Njoroge the option of a cash bail, citing the seriousness of the offense committed. Njoroge was charged on Tuesday with causing actual bodily harm, resisting arrest, and robbery with violence following the incident that occurred on Sunday. He was also produced before the Traffic Court, where he faced three counts of causing obstruction and carrying excess passengers.
