Veteran singer Bahati has opened up about how he first introduced his now wife, Diana Marua, to the public. Bahati gave reasons he picked Diana Marua for a wife. According to the Mama singer, he introduced Diana as his prayer partner because that was the only way she could be acceptable to the church people. During their Netflix reality show, The Bahati's Empire, Bahati also listed what he was looking for in a wife before settling down. "Two things. First, she had to be saved. Secondly, she had to be older than me. Somehow just to confess, I love my women older," he said. Why Bahati chose his wife Bahati also claimed that when Diana was dating him, he once accompanied her to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where she was apparently also going to meet her other boyfriend. "She thinks I never knew. The two clashed about the issue, with Diana claiming that Bahati chased her away, leaving her homeless.
