A heartbroken Eric Omondi has arrived at the Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital morgue to view his brother, Fred’s body. Eric Omondi was composed as he went to view his brother Fred’s body. What happened to Fred Omondi? Fred passed away on Saturday, June 15 after a road accident. According to a police report, Fred was a pillion passenger on a boda boda when it collided with a Forward Sacco bus at around 6:00 a.m near Caltex Petrol Station. The motorcycle was reportedly on the wrong side of the road before the head-on collision, and he died on the spot. The police report further added that the boda boda rider suffered injuries on both legs and fractures on both hands. Footage shared online depicted Eric arriving at the morgue to see his brother’s remains. How Eric arrived to view Fred Omondi’s body Dressed in black, the philanthropic entertainer had his arms across the shoulders of a man who seemed in distress. His manager held the man on the other side as he appeared to be wallowing in grief. Eric was exceptionally composed despite the tragedy that struck his family. He graciously fist-bumped the fans gathered outside the mortuary. The video ended at the facility’s door as Eric went inside to view Fred’s body. Downcast mourners were seen standing at the door. “Please don’t post this video,” one of the women asked the person capturing the video. Before losing his life in the accident, Fred had a brush with death years back. In 2016, he escaped death by a whisker after being accosted by armed robbers in Woodley Estate, Nairobi. Fred was coming from an event in the wee hours of the morning when six armed men confronted him and shot at his vehicle.
