Ruto and Gachagua attend Akurino church in Nakuru county |
President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua are attending a church service in Nakuru County.
The two leaders are attending the service organised by the Akorino church, dubbed the Akorino National Thanksgiving Prayer Conference.
They are accompanied by a host of other leaders from Nakuru County as well as other parts of the country.
This is the first time the two leaders are attending a church service together in over a month.
The conference brings together Akorino believers from across the country.
It also comes amid talks of a looming rift between President Ruto and Gachagua over the sharing of allocation.
While the DP and leaders allied to him call for a one-man-one-shilling revenue-sharing formula, the president and leaders allied to him insist that it will be unfair to other regions.
Even though, there is talk of a rift, Ruto and Gachagua have been attending official government functions together.
