Ruto and Gachagua attend Akurino church in Nakuru county

President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua are attending a church service in Nakuru County.

The two leaders are attending the service organised by the Akorino church, dubbed the Akorino National Thanksgiving Prayer Conference.

They are accompanied by a host of other leaders from Nakuru County as well as other parts of the country.

This is the first time the two leaders are attending a church service together in over a month.

The conference brings together Akorino believers from across the country.

It also comes amid talks of a looming rift between President Ruto and Gachagua over the sharing of allocation.

While the DP and leaders allied to him call for a one-man-one-shilling revenue-sharing formula, the president and leaders allied to him insist that it will be unfair to other regions.

Even though, there is talk of a rift, Ruto and Gachagua have been attending official government functions together.
