A distraught woman has opened up about the life challenges that have weighed her down. A woman looking depressed, sitting down.  The woman, identified as Atieno (not her real name), said she had suffered so much in life and felt like giving up. Why has life been hard for Nairobi mum? She noted she is a single mother, so taking on the overwhelming responsibilities of raising her kids alone is difficult.  In a post seen by TUKO.co.ke, the distressed woman shared her work and more about her poverty-stricken family. "I am a single mother of four working as a security guard. Life has not been easy for me. As soon as I get paid, I pay my debts until I am left with nothing, and the cycle starts again," she painfully disclosed. Atieno shared that her salary ends before she can do much with it, and it also depletes before the end of the month, leaving her needy. How much does Nairobi security guard earn? The Nairobi woman who told TUKO.co.ke she earns KSh 10,000 shared the heartbreaking state in which her son returned to school. "My son went to school without anything. I didn't go shopping. I still have a school fee balance for the last term. I feel like I am losing it," she emotionally penned.  She is ready to risk anything for the betterment of her kids, but she wonders who she can trust with them. She expressed her desperation online, seeking help in her extremely needy situation. What challenges does US-based Kenyan single mum have? In another story, a Kenyan-born single mother based in the US disclosed her challenge in balancing work and raising her kids. Milly Nduta added that caring for her two lovely daughters, one of whom was entering the second grade, was costly. However, she spiced up her parenting life with her personal life, travelling and hitting the gym five days a week. Nduta, who boasted a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's in business administration, said she did not take single parenting as a heavy load.
