There were sessions where neighbours met up to mourn with the Oyiers, and she recalled that their gate was always open. “I ask that you’ll just bear with me. There is no better way to pay tribute to Michael. So, I met Michael as a fellow professional. It was during the COVID period, and I didn’t know Michael, the celeb, because if I knew Michael, the celeb, I wouldn’t move close to him because I don’t like the public, attention. That's not my thing, but I remember that we were neighbours in South B. The only moment I remembered of Michael was when his mum had passed on, and his gate was open, and we lived directly opposite. When I mentioned to Michael that I remembered him from South B, he insisted that we needed to meet." She revealed that Michael was from therapy, and she, too, had gone through that because of heartbreak, and Dinah knew she was not ready to date. "Just to give you context, Michael had come out of a wilderness moment. I had equally come out of wilderness moment, and I had told God me and your sons that is not something I want to explore anymore in my life and a pastor friend of mine had come in 2021 new year, and he insisted that we need to pray for a spouse and I was very elusive about that and so he asked me to mention a month I might be ready. I mentioned the month of October. 'God, I can meet your son in October. For now, I want to enjoy my life.'" Dinah disclosed that their first date was in his house, and the journalist teased her about it. In her defence, she did not know it was a date, and she thought it would be a professional session since she was a therapist. So the first time I met Michael was on October 1st. When he invited me i actually thought i was going as a therapist. Typical me when you ask me for therapy sessions. I pray and ask God if I’m the right therapist for you. When I prayed, I had a vision of being in a red kitchen and Michael holding me from behind. So i thought i was being wicked and I asked God to forgive me. When i showed up at Michael’s door, he opened the door and before he said hi he said ‘i will laugh at you ten years down the line that your first date you came into the house.’He's Single, Speaks Relationship with Blessing Lung'aho In my head, I actually thought he needed therapy. When i was going to see him i thought i am going to a family man with a wife and children. So the Luhya in me, I carried bread and milk, and I stood there waiting for the wife to hand over these things. So, in the first few hours, he laid down his life to me. His first sentence is ‘i have five children.’"
