Juliani's Dandora Community Centre Building Facing Demolition After Gov't Order: "Put Us in Prayers"

Singer Juliani
Singer Juliani's property, the Hip Hop City building in Dandora, is being demolished. Juliani's Hip Hop City is being demolished after 7 years of empowering Dandora youth.  Why is Hip Hop City being demolished? The centre, which has served as a vital hub for local youth and artists for over seven years, is being brought down due to its proximity to the Dandora River. This follows an order by the Ministry of Interior that all buildings near rivers be demolished.  The Dandora Hip Hop City took to X to announce that it was facing demolition. The centre has been a sanctuary for young people seeking to express themselves through hip-hop, dance, and visual arts. "Got the news that our space will be demolished tomorrow. We have been in existence for the last 7 years+. Kindly put us in prayers. Join us as we will be doing a press release tomorrow at DHC," Dandora Hip Hop City tweeted. The post was accompanied by photos of young men demolishing the building. Juliani's reaction as his building is demolished Juliani also took to social media to express his disappointment about the demolition. The musician revealed that the 2-storey building was purchased over 7 years ago. "I got word that our community centre @DandoraHHC is being demolished. The whole 2-storey building. Yes, it's close to a river. We purchased the building more than 7 years ago," he wrote.  In his Insta Story, he wrote: "We're losing this building. Our community centre is being demolished."
