The first family was in the United States on a state tour, where they met several celebrities, including TV host Steve Harvey and basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal.   Kenyans noticed Charlene, the president's outspoken daughter compared to her siblings, was missing and were concerned about her whereabouts. The first daughter was busy back home doing what she does best, empowering the youth. What is Charlene Ruto's message to family? Ruto and his family jetted back into the country on Saturday, May 25, 2023, after a successful US tour, and Charlene shared photos from the historic visit, pampering them with love. She claimed God chose William and Rachel Ruto to lead Kenyans. "Mmhhhh the long awaited US State visit was a huge success for the progression of our great motherland! To say that I am proud of my family would be an understatement. I am bursting with awe, joy and wonder! Paps and Mama, you truly are the leaders that we as Kenyans needed, you took the difficult road, make endless sacrifices, and sleep knowing and making strides towards the great assignment God has given you for our nation. This was a big milestone in that journey, congrats!" she wrote.  The 31-year-old also praised her three sisters, June, Stephanie and Cullie, for always being on top of fashion during the US tour. "So proud of my sisters for representing my siblings and I so well with such elegant poise, and charm like the remarkable women they are!" he said. Charlene added: "Kama hamkuwa mnajua (If you didn't know), this one is for the history books ."
