Communication expert and blogger Pauline Njoroge |
Communication expert and blogger Pauline Njoroge, a strong critic of the Kenya Kwanza government, left many speechless after being spotted in William Ruto’s entourage during his US state visit. Pauline Njoroge had earlier announced that she was travelling to the U.S. to study history. Questions have arisen regarding her role in President William Ruto’s visit to the United States. What did Pauline post on her social media? Earlier, Njoroge shared stunning photos on her social media accounts displaying her arrival at the White House in Washington, D.C. In the photos, the president and the rest of his crew are absent as they are still in Atlanta. They are set to travel to the White House on Wednesday, May 22. Pauline, seemingly excited, is standing next to a portrait of former U.S. presidents and their first ladies. The blogger captioned her photo in her social media post, stating that touring the White House had always been her dream. “Today I have ticked something major off my bucket list. A tour of the White House,” she stated. How did netizens react? This has sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with some expressing their astonishment while some congratulated her. Ibrahim Murungu: “So you are part of the delegation from Kenya led by president Ruto?” Micheal Nyauchi: “So you were part of the Kenyan delegation? A day in politics is indeed a very long time.” Wairimu Maina: “The wheelbarrow champions must be asking so many questions. They claimed that your trips abroad ended with uhuru reign and called you funny names.” Shannon Thoiyani: “Wow! Congratulations girl.” Jeff Mwangi: “Your God deserves respect.” Martin Wamaofarm: “Explain to me how It’s Possible to be in Whitehouse other in Atlanta.” Pauline sends mixed signals regarding trip to the U.S Pauline had flown out prior to Ruto’s visit, saying she was in the US on a personal sojourn to study history. However, her initial X post upon arriving in the US before Ruto’s arrival contradicted her earlier stated purpose for being in the US. The well-known critic of Ruto’s administration appeared unusually focused on the president’s visit. She fervently emphasised its importance for US-Nairobi relations. She further expressed optimism about Ruto’s five-day tour, suggesting it could leverage US readiness to partner with Kenya for political and socio-economic benefits.
