Esther Njeri, the grandmother of the deceased TikToker Brian Chira |
Esther Njeri, the grandmother of the deceased TikToker Brian Chira, has approached the authorities to demand what she calls justice. Brian Chira’s grandmother with TikToker Obidan Dela. The two are seeking justice for Chira. Accompanied by fellow TikToker Obidan Della, Njeri visited the Ruaka police station on Monday, May 13. They sought to have the investigative officers take up Chira’s case and delve into the true cause of his demise. Although it is widely held that Chira was the victim of a hit-and-run incident in Kiambu County, his grandmother harbours doubts about this narrative. In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Obidan revealed that Njeri has been restless amid speculations that Chira may have been coerced to the location of his death by unidentified individuals. Obidan emphasised Njeri’s call for an open and thorough inquiry to bring them closure. “We went to the police station to seek justice. I am just trying to help her because of the good relationship I had with Brian Chira. She wants to know the truth because there are so many loopholes in the story. Those who were with him before the accident never came out to share the story. We don’t even know whether he was pushed to the road by someone. So his grandmother has not been at peace and that is why she decided to take the move. We will accept the results after thorough investigations,” Obidan told TUKO.co.ke.
