Michael Oyier always wanted to have a family Abigael, who was speaking at the former KTN news anchor’s requiem mass, remembered how her dad used to take her to meetings and errands.  She said that at first, she didn’t understand what impact it would have on her, that she wouldn’t be where she was in its absence.  “He would take me to his bible study every Monday. I never knew that time would impact my journey with God as it has. I remember the multiple car rides I would have with dad to school, home, Homabay and the deep talks about life and little jokes that would last from point A to B,” she said. Abigail was also happy that her dad finally married his wife and got the life he always wanted, as well as help taking care of the kids. Oyier struggled and was in pain “Best believe he is in a better place of no pain, stress or worry; just peace, joy and happiness. I really don’t know how to cope without dad. He knew me more than any human could, loved me more than any man ever will, listened and understood me,” she revealed.  “Like a father would, he shouted and spanked me, but it was all out of love. Standing here in front of his cold body brings nothing but heartache, but you can’t escape reality. I saw the pain, struggle, and stress through dad’s eyes. I wish I could do something, but I put my trust in God. It was me and him against the world,” shared Abigael.
