First daughter Charlene Ruto has showered praises on deceased Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla. Charlene added voice to the many that resonated with grief and admiration for the gallant soldier whose life was taken away in a tragic helicopter accident.  In her tribute, Charlene expressed her deep respect and aspiration to emulate the commendable life led by Ogolla. “As young people, many listen to us, but few of them support and encourage us to achieve our dreams,” she said, reflecting on the challenges faced by the younger generation. General Ogolla, known for his excellent character and humility, left an indelible mark on those who knew him. Charlene's voice, laden with emotion, paid homage to Ogolla’s legacy and set a path for others to follow—a life of integrity and modesty. “I don’t know if we shall ever find another one like him. As young people, we hope to lead a life like his," she stated. Her tribute stood out as a beacon of hope for the youth, a call to uphold the virtues that the fallen military man exemplified throughout his life. The funeral service, attended by President William Ruto, top politicians, numerous dignitaries, family members, and citizens, became a platform to reflect on the values the CDF championed.
