Chris The Bass announces departure from Milele FM
After an eventful five years at Milele FM, beloved radio presenter Chris The Bass has declared his departure from the station.
Renowned for his charismatic hosting on the afternoon show alongside comedian MCA Tricky, Chris made his heartfelt announcement from the U.S., leaving fans pondering about his next steps.
"Jamani Kilicho Na Mwanzo Lazima Kiwe Na Mwisho, My 5 Years At Radio Milele Has Been Something Amazing, ASANTE SANA Kwako Wewe Msikilizaji, Kwa Sababu Bila Wewe Mimi Sipo !!" he reflected.
Chris also hinted at continuing his radio journey, leaving fans to speculate about his new destination.
"ASANTE SANA Kwa my colleagues na My Bosses Pale Radio Milele, My Brother @mcatricky Tutapatana Tu, Jamani Tuliizabanga Ikazabanginka !! ASANTENI SANA, Kwa Sasa NIMEMALIZA MILELE. Guess Wapi Next ??" wrote Chris on his Instagram.
While Chris might be departing Milele FM, the station welcomed Aisha Wanjiku who will be co-hosting with comedian and radio personality, Mulamwah, on the daily drive show.
Chris's tenure at Milele FM has witnessed significant growth in listenership, largely attributed to his dynamic partnership with MCA Tricky.
Before joining Milele FM, Chris lent his voice to Pilipili FM in Mombasa, now known as Msenangu FM.
Chris' departure is another loss of talent that follows the exit of prominent radio host Alex Mwakideu who left the station in August 2023.
A few weeks later, Alex would later announce that he was joining Radio47. One wonders what Chris' next move will be...
