Chopper Crash: Baringo Pastor Mourns Generous KDF Soldier Who Helped Her Build Church

 

Pastor Daisy Tala has mourned her friend, Colonel Duncan Keitany, who died alongside Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla in a chopper crash in -Elgeyo Marakwet County. " He was like a brother to me. My life story isn't complete without mentioning him. I'm mourning my brother, my blood Colonel Duncan Keitany. He was among the people who realized my dreams of owning land and a car. This cannot be erased even in death," she said.  During her lowest moments, Keitany readily helped her family and supported her ministry. "He supported my family and the work of God with his wife Norah. His one of the reasons I moved from Eldoret to Baringo for ministry. He supported the work of God all-heartedly," she said. Talaa further disclosed that Keitany not only donated a piece of land for the church but also helped in putting up her church, Kingdom Aflame, in Eldama Ravine. "He donated land to the church, we established the church with him. The success I have today I owe Keitany. Am devastated and broken, I lost a brother in him," What was Colonel Duncan Keitany's mission? The late soldier was a devoted Christian who participated in church activities.  Photos shared by the preacher showed the late soldier in the presence of God, singing and worshipping with other congregants. "He supported the work of God in his capacity all-heartedly. The crusades, conferences, church projects, public address systems, church van, he is part of the foundation of God's work in my life. Let me mourn this gallant soldier," she further said.
