On Friday 12, during the launch of Cheetah Pro watch event ahead of the marathon, Kiptum’s widow, Asenath Rotich, who was in attendance, was overcome with emotion after being presented with a limited edition sports watch ‘Cheetah Pro’ which was launched before the marathon. Source: Facebook According to Nation, on April 14, before the marathon kicked off, the mother of two got emotional and shed tears when the master of ceremonies asked participants to observe a minute of silence in honour of her late husband. Reacting to Asenath’s emotional moments, Kenyans encouraged her to stay strong for her kids and below are their messages: Liz Mbithe said: “Take heart mama.” Anne Wa Kuria said: “Healing is what am praying for you.” Rahab Richard said: “Very sorry, take heart.” Baba Shantel said: “Be strong mama.” Kenyans awed by Kelvin Kiptum’s wife’s transformation While attending the event on April 12, Asenath wore a blue trouser suit, a white top, sandals and cute earrings. The mother of two looked simple and beautiful in cornrows. Netizens took to social media to comment on Asenath’s latest photos, and many noted that she had transformed into a damsel.
