Renowned Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) preacher Elizabeth Mokoro has shut down claims that she asked Kisumu Boys High School students to quit school and focus on her ministry. SDA Pastor Elizabeth shut down claims that she runs her own church. The woman of God reacted during a church service after a Facebook user, using the handle Kings Ministers Group, raised allegations about her, claiming that she resigned to start her church. Elizabeth Mokoro denies resigning from church While reacting to each allegation, Mokoro also revealed that she has a responsible husband who helps take care of their four children. “They say I have a church called Mount Zion; permit me to clarify some things: if you want to look for me, come for me. Do not go through some exposé that I called a failed journalistic capability,” she said. Mokoro also shut down claims that she was the leader of the Kings Melody group and asked netizens to ask the choir who their leader was. “They claim I am the pastor of Mount Zion, I am not, and I have never been a pastor of Mount Zion.I am a member of Mount Zion. Just like a pastor from the conference has a church where he worships, is it? They claimed I have resigned, I do not remember tendering my resignation, I am still an employee of Central Nyanza,” she added. Mokoro on influencing students to quit school The renowned preacher also shut down claims that she had influenced seven high school boys to drop out of school and maintained that she had kids in international school pursuing an education. She, however, asked people to pray for her and revealed that she was told that the police were looking for her. “I have just received a call that police are looking for me, asking where is Pastor Mokoro’s church,” she added. The straight-talking woman of God said most women set aside marital goals to pursue the highest level of education and then end up miserable because they cannot find people to marry. She urged women not to spend so much time seeking the highest education status before they consider getting married.
