Typical of a political figure, the lawmaker took to social media, flaunting some of his successful projects and upcoming plans. Arama shared numerous images of walking in the company of local MCAs and interacting with residents of his constituency. However, Kenyans have been attracted to the specific image of a school pupil holding a placard praising the MP. In the image, the schoolboy, who appears uncomfortable, holds up a manila paper with inscriptions praising the MP for giving them bursaries. “Thank You so much Mheshimiwa Arama for the bursaries you gave us. May God bless you,” read the placard. Kenyans react to Arama’s photo Kenyans, especially on X, did not take the gesture lightly, expressing their displeasure as they lectured the MP for subjecting the learner to search disturbing situations. Another section also questioned why the MP would take personal credit for a program that the taxpayer funds.
