Willy Paul to be arraigned after Monday arrest

 

Musician Wilson Radido, widely known as Willy Paul, is set to face charges following his arrest yesterday.

The arrest, conducted by the police at his Syokimau residence, is related to allegations of a hit-and-run accident. Willy Paul is anticipated to be formally charged today.

Benson Waziri Chacha, who faced charges of conning Members of Parliament in 2018, will appear in court as the hearing of his case resumes.

Chacha is accused of multiple counts, including obtaining money by false pretense, impersonating public servants, and conspiracy to defraud.

He is currently out on a Sh1 million bond, and the proceedings will continue before trial magistrate Lucas Onyina at the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi.

In the family court, there is a dispute between two widows, Grace Rigiri and Sarah Kathambi, over the final resting place for Silas Kamuta Igweta, who passed away three weeks ago.

Both women are vying for the burial to take place at their respective homes. The case is scheduled for a hearing today.
