Why Kenyans have flocked to Otile Brown's YouTube page after Brian Chira's death
Previously unknown details of the late Brian Chira are emerging 2 days after his death. The late Chira was involved in a road accident early Saturday, March 16th.
Kenyans have been flocking to Otile Brown's YouTube channel where they are tagging the musician informing him that it was reportedly Chira's favourite song, 'One Call'.
The song is a collaboration with singer, Ruby and was released in Feb 2023. The song's theme is about lovers being able to rely on one another by calling or reaching out in whatever way they can.
Otile has responded by acknowledging his fan's comments and also paid tribute to Chira in a heartfelt message.
"Rest easy young King. this life ting can get crazy sometimes. I can only try to understand till we meet again," he penned.
"Thank you for the love you showed our #onecall," he added about the song. It currently has over 4 million views on YouTube.
According to the last person who spoke to the content creator, Chira has begged to be helped.
The witness told YouTuber Presenter Ali that Chira allegedly appeared intoxicated and had been kicked out of a popular club after a fight.
The witness offered to take him home. However, along the way, Chira disembarked from the boda boda and ran across the road.
He was hit by a lorry at around 3 am Saturday in Gacharage area on the Ndenderu-Ruaka Road in Kiambu County. His body was taken to the City Mortuary.
