Why Jacque Maribe is trending at No 1

 

Media Personality and former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe at number one trending after she landed a lucrative job in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration.

On Sunday, March 10, Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria appointed Jacque Maribe as the head of communication in the Ministry of Public Service Performance and Delivery Management.

The appointment comes less than a month after Maribe was acquitted of charges in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani in September 2018.

Her co-accused and the main suspect in the gruesome murder Jowie Irungu, was found guilty of the crime and is waiting for his sentencing on Wednesday, 13 March.

Following this news Jacque Maribe has been trending due to Kenyans' reactions on social media.
