Tragedy struck the community of Thika, Kiambu County, as news emerged of the untimely demise of a university student on the night of Sunday, March 17. Thika: MKU Students Mourn after Campus Girl Falls from Balcony, Dies The family and friends of the student, identified as Edah, were thrown into mourning upon learning of the shocking incident. Edah, a young woman pursuing a nursing career, met her unfortunate fate after falling from the balcony of a neighbouring apartment. Reports suggested that she had found herself locked out of her own apartment and was attempting to gain access through the back door to retrieve her keys when the tragic accident occurred.  Eyewitnesses recounted that the student, in her attempt to reach her apartment, slipped and fell, succumbing to her injuries on the spot. Friends and classmates from the prestigious university where she was enrolled have expressed their grief and raised questions about the circumstances leading to her untimely death. Police swiftly moved the victim's body to the General Kago Funeral Home in Thika, pending autopsy results as the family awaits closure and clarity on the tragic event.
