Confirming the grim news, Voi sub-county police commandant Dasala Ibrahim disclosed that the injured victims were swiftly transported to nearby medical facilities for urgent treatment. The collision, occurring amidst the students' journey of academic exploration, swiftly transformed what should have been a routine trip into a harrowing ordeal. As of the latest reports, forty-two students are currently hospitalized, while the whereabouts of four others remain unaccounted for. The nation recoiled in shock and sorrow upon learning of the tragedy, with an outpouring of condolences flooding social media platforms as Kenyans expressed solidarity with the grieving families and friends of the deceased students.
