Kelvin Kiptum's Alleged Baby Mama Claims She Met, Talked to His Wife Before Marathoner's Death

 

World record holder Kelvin Kiptum Cheruiyot's alleged baby mama has shared more information about her relationship with the late marathoner. Kelvin Kiptum's alleged baby mama Edna Awuor recalls conversations with athlete's wife, Asenath Rotich. Edna Awuor Otieno has opened up about not only knowing Kiptum was married but also talking to her. Kiptum's alleged baby mama finds out about marathoner's wife Awuor claimed she was in contact with Kiptum's wife, Asenath Rotich, as they talked frequently on the phone. P They Had Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Awuor said Kiptum genuinely loved her as he split his time between Rotich and her. "I met her, and we even used to talk. When Kiptum was off, she would call me to inquire if he was with me. I'd tell her he was with me, and she was okay. I don't mean that we used to talk continuously, but just now and then. But when she first found out Kelvin and I had a relationship, she used to insult me, but it got to a point where she stopped," Awuor said. He brought me Nike clothes, Awuor The woman from Homa Bay said Kiptum used to bring her gifts when he went to compete abroad, expressing his love to her. "He used to bring me gifts such as these shoes I wear. He also brought me some Nike clothes, and he would also bring some chocolates," she said. Awuor also disclosed what Kiptum loved to eat, including traditional vegetables and fruits like bananas and avocadoes. He also loved samosas, boiled eggs, popcorn, tea and smoke, as a heartbroken Awuor shared. Awuor's recounts promises by Kiptum before his death Earlier, the alleged Kiptum's lover recalled the promise he gave her before his death, saying he took care of her. She asserted that they shared a one-year-and-seven-month-old daughter. Awuor had sought legal intervention to stop Kiptum's burial until she and her child were officially recognised as beneficiaries of the athlete's estate. Awuor, represented by lawyer Joseph Ayaro, approached the High Court in Eldoret with a certificate of urgency.
