Ezekiel Mutua's reaction after Stivo Simple Boy fainted during Citizen TV interview
Music Copyright Society of Kenya CEO Ezekiel Mutua has spoken out after musician Stivo Simple Boy collapsed during a live interview on Citizen TV.
Mutua said in a statement that he is relieved to learn that Stivo is recovering from the terrible situation.
The MCSK CEO went on to say that witnessing Simple Boy collapse during a live interview was terrifying.
“Glad to hear that Stivo Simple Boy is fine. Watching him collapse during a live TV interview on 10over10 Show on Citizen TV last night was scary. Good to hear that he's ok now. God loves you, my friend. You have more music to do and exploits to perform in the music industry. Keep well!,” Ezekiel Mutua wrote.
The unfortunate incident of Stivo Simple Boy collapsing abruptly on Live TV has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans- making him a trending topic on X App formerly Twitter.
However, the Mihadarati hitmaker has issued a statement assuring his fans that he is doing okay.
He hinted that he was stressed during the interview and that is why he fainted.
“Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa nguvu watu wasitukosanishe. Stress inanipiga mpka naanguka kwa stage niki perform. Mnatakuniharibia mpaka meneja,” Stivo said.
He went on to add "Kuna pressure kwa streets," in a post on his socials.
The Stivo Simple Boy Incident
On Friday Night, Stivo was being interviewed by Azeezah Hashim before he started to struggle with his breath amid the interview.
Within a few seconds, the rapper was unable to continue with the interview, as he opted to bend in what seemed like trying to ease what was disturbing him.
However, he ended up fainting, something that left everyone on the show in panic. The host of the show was forced to call for a quick break so that Simple Boy could be taken care of.
Minutes later, Azeezah came back with an update – assuring everyone that Stivo was doing okay after the unfortunate incident.
“Stivo how are you doing… fans were a bit worried after they saw what happened? Azeezah asked
He replied,” At the moment I’m doing good…and I will share more through my Instagram so that they can know what really happened,”.
