Why Eric Omondi invited graduates to a meeting On March 24, Omondi took to his Instagram page and invited graduates without jobs to meet him at the Blue Springs Hotel so that he could address their plight. "We are meeting at 8:30am, don't be late, there are jobs! We are going to provide employment and job opportunities to all our brothers and sisters. We have already acquired numerous jobs from Kenyans of goodwill," he said. Eric Omondi vows to get graduates in other towns jobs On March 25, about 3500 graduates turned up for the event at the hotel with their documents. They ranged from young to middle-aged graduates. "We are going to provide employment for each and every one of them! We will then move to Mombasa, Kisumu, Nyeri, Eldoret and the rest of the country," he revealed. According to Omondi, jobseekers should fight for their financial freedom just like pre-independence freedom fighters like Jomo Kenyatta, Bildad Kaggia, and Ochieng Oneko, who fought for the country. "Kenyans will never move as long as we keep recycling leaders and doing things the same way," he said. "We are going to wake up every young person, they will never know what hit them. I have the contacts and details of 3500 young people; provide jobs for them but if I do it, and you don't do it, woe unto you," he added.
