Four lives have been confirmed lost from the rains that pounded Nairobi county early Monday Morning.
Flooded roads and walkways made the early morning commute difficult as Nairobi residents jumped, skipped, and hopped to their workplaces.
In a trending video on Twitter, an unidentified man looks around puzzled as to how he made it out alive from a drain.
He gestures with his hands silently, following his harrowing experience almost being swept away by the floods.
He was allegedly saved by good samaritans after he was stalled by a culvert after landing in a drainage according to a short clip provided by User Stella Millii Kamau.
She posed the question of his experience in a drain
“Could we be experiencing some AI generated rains? Unatoka nje Nairobi south C, unajipata JKIA like this man who had been swept by the heavy downpour, luckily he was held by a culvert. The luckiest man of the year”
The man wearing a black shirt (Above) spat out things from his mouth, dazed as witnesses told him how close he was to being swept away.
In Kikuyu language, the by-standers told him
“weuh you were almost carried away by the way, heh “
