I left them at home around three, as I usually do on Wednesdays, and then I left. Around five in the evening, we received a call asking if I knew that they hadn’t picked up another child from school. When I tried calling, there was no answer. So when we came home and asked the neighbors, they said they had left in the morning and seemed fine. The fruit vendor mentioned seeing them somewhere. So after that, I thought they were just around, but around four, I decided to go to the police How was Nakuru house help arrested The police immediately started tracking the suspect to Eldoret and then Kabarnet, where she was apprehended. Baringo County Police Commandant Julius Kiragu said the girl raised suspicion as most questioned if she was the baby’s mother. “They were able to see a seventeen-year-old girl with a child, and they doubted that the child was hers, so they gave us the information and our officers apprehended her,” said Kiragu. Carolyn said they’ve never had any issues with that girl, adding that she was fine and behaved well at home. “That’s why even when I noticed she was missing with the child, I was kind of confused. I think she was under the influence; someone must have influenced her to just leave with the child because until now, if you ask her, she says she doesn’t know anything,” the police boss added.
