He was however determined to speed off leaving the helpless staffer to run after the car. His colleagues and a security guard went to help him but it was too late. This came months after a similar case along Waiyaki Way. CCTV footage emerged showing a motorist fleecing a petrol station attendant at a filling outlet along the busy road. The happening on the dawn of Thursday, November 23, added to a list of many other instances in which fuel stations’ attendants have been left to bear the burden of errant car owners. As captured by the surveillancecameras within the station, the attendant after fueling the Toyota Noah turned to return the nozzle at the pump. Seeing him briefly preoccupied at the pump, the driver seized the moment to speed off to the highway. The attendant, prompted by the turn of events, strived to run after the vehicle to no avail.
