Popular TikTok couple Klaus and Nasieku have provided details of their viral marriage proposal.
A few days ago the couple left many confused following the proposal that they now say was for a campaign.
“What is the worst social media rumor we have heard about us?” they posed to each other.
“That we are getting married. Others even thought we were planning a wedding. We played along,” let me tell you it was just a shoot though it was a project we organized where we were advertising clothes,” they jointly said in an interview with Tuko.
“You believed what you wanted to believe. You weren’t keen I will insist on that,” he continued.
They have been sharing things that have seen their bond grow.
She asked him “What fear do you have about taking our relationship to the next level?”
He said “Kuachana if we ever date and break up there is no work that will ever get done. The number of times it will happen when we are this way will lead to a breakup which is quite scary. It’s scary. That is my fear of taking the next step because it might ruin everything and cause us to split. and then what?”
What do your family and friends think about our relationship? she asked
“That we are dating” he answered “90 percent of them, like they know we are dating and we are not just friends they support it because they are now convinced we are dating. They tell me that I chose wisely “ giving the thumbs up sign.
Adding;
“There are some who knew originally from the first time that we weren’t dating so those that didn’t know found me after my tiktok and Instagram had gotten famous and then they started assuming we were dating it was just weird.
” I think 90 percent of my family, apart from my mum and it is only because of my mum because you know each other, the rest are convinced we are dating,”.
Nasieku’s biggest fear is seeing him move on.
“I think it would be for us to get to a point where we aren’t there for each other. whereby if you want to do your thing you feel like I won’t support you. So I would want that just in case you told me that you are going to Dubai you’ve gotten a shawtty from Dubai,…I think that’s my fear, I would want you to feel as if you do your thing even if it is purely yours I am behind you ” she sadly pointed out.
He asked “The biggest misconception people have about our relationship”
she answered
“People fear talking to us like they think there is this like you must go through me to get to talk to Klaus, and vice versa,”.
He fully agreed “Yeah they say let me leave her alone so that you dont get upset. They even come to ask for permission,”.
“They tell me to let me go and say hi to your man and I’m left wondering ngai like he is right there,”.
He added “By the way it is very tiring, weird”
