Kericho Man Who Publicly Accused Ex-Lover of Chewing His KSh 800k Offers Apology: “Ilikuwa Hasira”

In February of this year, Cheruiyot Boiyon took to Facebook to open up about his failed relationship with Ivyne Chepngenoh, also known as Ariel Samkerre. Cheruiyot has let go of his ex-girlfriend (pictured in the right frame in black marvin) and is apologetic for his sentiments.  The young man expressed his feelings of betrayal and loss after allegedly being taken advantage of and dumped unceremoniously. Cheruiyot spent KSh 800k on lover A heartbroken Cheruiyot detailed how Chepngenoh’s actions had impacted his life after she was taken from him by another man. “All I can do is within me and my God. After waiting all my life and milking all my monies, I’m now nothing for now,” he wrote. According to Cheruiyot, the young woman blocked him on all social media after spending more than KSh 800,000 from him. His problems did not end there; he allegedly sent her fare to meet and solve their issues, but she stood him up despite agreeing to the meeting. Cheruiyot arrested for defamation Instead of the woman coming, he received a WhatsApp message informing him that Ivyne was with another man. The online venting did not go well with Ivyne, who reported the matter to a Kericho Police Station and had him arrested for defamation.  He disclosed that efforts to send his parents to the ex-girlfriend’s family for negotiations were futile as they were not given a listening ear. After spending a week in the cells and appearing in court, a humbled Cheruiyot says he was not in his right frame when writing the posts. “I’m truly sorry,” Cheruiyot says Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the youngster requested forgiveness from his ex and promised to stop bothering about her life. “I’m withdrawing all the statements I had made against her. I’m apologising to her family and friends about the character defamation,” he said. As of the time of filing this story, Cheruiyot had made good on his promise by deleting his posts about Ivyne.
