Marakwet Daughter vs Kisii All-Stars The focal point of this dispute is a group known as Kisii All-Stars, who have purportedly laid claim to her song. Marakwet Daughter, with unwavering determination, has vehemently denied their assertions. In a video posted on her TikTok account, she minced no words as she condemned their actions and issued a stern warning. “I am shocked! Totally shocked! My song, my creative expression, and my intellectual property—Kisii All Stars, you dare to stake a claim? You even had the audacity to file a copyright strike against me on TikTok. But let me be clear: I won’t back down. My fans, who wholeheartedly embraced the challenge, are now left without their videos on the platform. Some speculate that I removed the challenge, but that’s far from the truth. Kisii All Stars, whoever you are, prepare yourselves. You’re about to witness the strength of a resilient woman.” Marakwet Daughter warns DJs In a past interview with TUKO.co.ke, the songstress accused Kenyan DJs of exploiting her.  She said they frequently upload her viral song, Mali Safi Chito, to their YouTube channels, which she finds unacceptable. Pointing a finger at the camera, the singer warned the DJs that they should never include her song in their YouTube mixes. She explained that she put a lot of effort into making the song and, as such, feels like the DJs are profiting off her hard work. However, she clarified that they can use the song in mixes played at clubs or events, just not on YouTube.
