Zari Publicly Apologises to Shakib after Viral Video with Ex, Diamond Platnumz: "I Hurt Him"

 

Zari Hassan has denied still being in love with her ex and baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz. Zari revealed Shakib left for Uganda after her video with Diamond went viral. Why Zari and Diamond took video together Speaking in an interview with Ayo TV after a video of her and Diamond holding hands, the mother of five said that they were friends and not involved romantically. She said they consult each other for help on indifferent matters."We have a good relationship now. There was a time when we were bitter exes, but passed that stage. We are good friends, and not as many claim that we still love each other. We are just in a good space," she explained. The 43-year-old businesswoman narrated that Shakib was home the day Diamond and Zari were shooting his project and was supposed to fly to Uganda, but because of that video, he didn't. "Nilipofika nyumbani akaniuiza 'Mke wangu mbona hivi vitu mimi si vielewi?' Shida ni sikumuambia tulishoot hio video na makosa ni yangu (When I arrived home, he asked me, 'My wife what is happening? I don't understand these things'). The problem is I didn't tell her that we shot that video, and the mistake is mine. I was to tell him I did a video with Baba T, and it was strictly for the promotion of his song," she shared.  Zari revealed her 31-year-old was shocked, and he got mad at her. "He asked me why I didn't tell him, because whenever Baba T and I meet, it looks like I disrespect him," she said. Zari said she apologised to Shakib, but he was so upset. "Nilimwambia nisamehe (I told him to forgive me)," she said. Zari revealed that when the video emerged online, both she and Diamond were having problems in their relationships. "Zuchu was there when the video was shot, so her announcing she was done with Diamond was not because of the video. They had their own issues, and so were Shakib and I. We have our own relationships problems before the video emerged," she revealed. Zari said she was tired of being accused of breaking Diamond's relationship with Zuchu, claiming if she doesn't respond to any rumours, people assume they are true. Shakib leaves Zari She confirmed Shakib had indeed left South Africa for Uganda. "Tumekuwa na matatitzo yet imekuwa ikiendelea (We have been having ongoing issues) since last year. Yeye kusema he was going back to Uganda it was more like we give each other space and see how this goes, but from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry I hurt him. I should have told him I had shot a video with Baba T," she said. Had no problem supporting his hustle because he was the father of her kids. "I apologise to Shakib because I didn't think of it as something that could have hurt him," she said. Zari revealed Shakib leaked the video with his ex-DJ Alisha to bloggers to publish them. "He was like, if you are chilling with your exes like that, I also have exes and can share the videos," she said.
