The wife of Kelvin Kiptum's coach, Gervais Hakizimana, has revealed that he was planning to build her a house in Rwanda before his sudden death alongside his client. In a tearful tribute during a church service to celebrate him, Joab Chelimo said he was always there for her and asked her to give him until April so that he could honour some pledges to her. "He wanted to build a land here in Rwanda because he had already built a house for us. He was also a very determined man, he also had plans to build a training camp in Chepkorio, Marakwet county" shared Chelimo. "He was a go-getter; when he wanted something he really went for it. He was a very intelligent person, it is very difficult for me to do anything without him. My life has crushed and I don't know where to start from," she added.
