Waihiga Mwaura Joins St Mary's School in Mourning Charles Ouda: "RIP Brother"

 

Waihiga Mwaura has revealed he schooled with the late actor Charles Ouda. Charles Ouda died on February 3.  Where did Charles Ouda go to school? The 38-year-old actor schooled at the Prestigious St Mary's School. . According to the school's official Instagram page, Ouda was a house captain and completed his studies at the school in 2003. The school described Ouda as a jovial man who was passionate about acting and theatre.  "Our Hearts are broken! Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the late Charles. May his soul rest in eternal peace. ," read a touching tribute on the school's page. BBC journalist Waihiga Mwaura shared a TBT photo he took with his classmates while in Standard 5 and captioned it: "Turns out Ouda and I stood next to each other in this class 5 photo. Rest in peace brother." Charles Ouda's last speech A video of Ouda's last speech during Salem's farewell party on February 3 was shared by his former colleague. In a video shared by his colleague, Foi Wambui, Ouda was jovial as he sang and danced to different tunes. While giving his speech, the actor and film director reminisced about what they had gone through, and he said: "Some of us survived a year; some of us survived two. Some of us survived more. But as we survived, I ask us to remember one thing: we survived. We are here." Ouda preached about love, urging the party attendees to love each other and work hard. "The inches we fought for, the loves we lived for, everything. I ask that we love each other as we move forward. I ask that we understand that it is no longer their industry; it is ours."
