Romantic Congolese Man Gives Kenyan Women Money, Sings for Them On Dating Show: "I Want Him"

 

A singer from the Democratic Republic of Congo has taken a dating show by storm with his antics. Redpen took Hello Mr Right by storm.  How did Congolese singer Redpen impress ladies? Redpen appeared on the Hello Mr Right show hosted by Dr Ofweneke and Diana Marua. The singer walked in with two bulky bodyguards before making a lasting impression on the ladies.  Redpen handed crisp KSh 1,000 notes to the surprised ladies, who screamed in delight. His gesture instantly endeared him to the women as they battled to catch his attention. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Redpen disclosed that he spent around KSh 30,000 on the show. “I spent KSh 20,000 on the ladies while my security team received KSh 5,000 each for the day,” he said. According to Redpen, the women waivered a part of the show where they were shown the suitor’s profile. He eventually settled on a lady named Fatma. However, Redpen said that they were not strangers. “She is my ex. She was surprised. Fatma barely recognised me initially as my appearance has changed.” Redpen further described his current relationship status as complicated. Redpen arrived in Kenya when a friend promised him work, only for him to switch off his phone. The singer struggled to find his footing and slept in a music studio at some point before attaining success. The founder of Kwetu Fashion, who was also featured in a major commercial in the Democratic Republic of Congo, shared his journey.
