The lawmaker shared the video on his page and pointed out that the story had touched him. Moved by the teen's resilience and ambition, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi stepped forward to make a significant difference in their lives. It emerged that the twins had their hopes set on joining high school after excelling in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results. Sudi announced that he will provide a full scholarship for Sidney and Britney to attend Mukuru Secondary School. This scholarship will cover all their educational expenses until they complete their Form Four studies. "It's heartening to see such determination and resilience, especially in the pursuit of education," he stated. Macharia added that apart from fees, Sudi also paid for shopping and the family's rent of four months. According to the mother, having fees for the twins taken care of had lifted a massive burden off her shoulders. The scholarship ensures access to education for the siblings and serves as a beacon of hope for their future. "The gesture so touches me. May he be blessed abundantly to continue helping others," the emotional single mother said. Sudi urged others to support underprivileged children, emphasizing the transformative power of education in breaking the cycle of poverty.
