Nairobi Woman Who Overcame Bed-Wetting Claims Hubby Ran Away for Month: "Went to His Parents"
Marriage requires a level of maturity, commitment and understanding for it to thrive or one, if not both, parties will live in pain. Nairobi woman Anne Neema opens up on her fair share of challenges with her husband. A woman who overcame bed-wetting has opened up about her marriage life and the challenges she faced. Anne Neema, who overcame her bed-wetting struggle after 27 years, shared her experience in marriage with her born-again husband. Is not working a red flag? Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, pastor Neema said she overlooked many red flags before marrying the man, warning lovers not to do the same. "He was not working and said God had instructed him not to work. I was and am a pastor and also a businesswoman. I tried to sell the idea to him, but he was reluctant and lazy. I would do everything, including paying bills and our daughter's school fees. I have tried to hook him up with some businesses, just for him to get money for his use, but all he did was pray all day and work when it was too late," she said. Pleading with husband to return home Neema recalled when her husband packed his clothes and disappeared to his parent's home in the upcountry. The author noted that even before she married her husband, he stayed with his parents until the wedding day. "He disappeared for a month and a few weeks before I pleaded with him to return. However, when he returned, he was even worse. I could not take it anymore, and I had to leave the marriage. He was lazy, and for that and many other things, I could not tolerate. The fact that he refused to work, claiming God told him so, was a turnoff," motivational speaker Neema said.
