An abroad-based man who has been sending construction money to his wife expected to come home to a two-bedroom permanent house. Man Sends Wife Money from Abroad to Build 2-Bedroom House, Returns to Find Tiny Mud Hut However, when he made an impromptu visit, he found a small unfinished mud hut the size of a cowshed. The heartbroken man made a video lamenting how he had diligently sent money for a permanent house to be built on their two-acre parcel of land.  Having purchased the land 15 years ago with dreams of development, the husband was met with a reality far from his expectations. The man disclosed that he had entrusted his wife with funds for sand, cement, doors, and windows to construct a comfortable dwelling. "Based on the amount I sent, I hoped to get a house that could fit my belongings and serve as a comfortable living space for us and a caretaker," he said. He was greeted with a small mud hut that could hardly accommodate two people simultaneously. The disappointed man revealed that his idea was to start with a small permanent house with good finishing and then build a bigger one over time. "Namshukuru. Amenijengea kibanda, baadae nikipata hela nitajenga nyumba," expressing both gratitude for the effort and disappointment for the result. Interestingly, the wife, who had assured him of the progress, even requested additional funds to move into the new house.  The man is now grappling with the aftermath of a dream deferred due to the mismanagement of the funds entrusted to his wife. He has been left to accept an underwhelming structure and drastically short of his expectations. Social media has been abuzz with speculation and opinions, with many expressing sympathy for the man's plight.
