Kitale Woman Working in Lebanon Teaches Boss's Kids Kalenjin Language, Video Amuses Kenyans

 

A Kalenjin woman working in Lebanon is sending waves on social media after she taught her employer's child her language. Chirii Rutto who works in Lebanon.  Chirii Rutto comes from Kitale A TikTok video posted by Chirii Ruto, who comes from Kitale, shows the two of them having a conversation in Kalenjin as the cute kid takes her milk and smiles. "How are you?" Rutto asked the bubbly girl who was sitting at the table in Kalenjin "I am fine, she answered in Rutto's native language," and the two continued talking to the delight of netizens. Lebanese kids also speak Kiswahili In another video, the lovely housekeeper christened the two kids, Chemu and Chepchirchir. In the video, the girls were having a meal when she started talking to them in Swahili. "How are you," she asked in Kiswahili "We are okay" they shouted enthusiastically in Kiswahili. Their cute giggles as they continued eating and as she asked them what they were eating warmed the hearts of many, as it showed she boasts a good relationship with her boss's kids.
